The Education Officer: School Leadership Development works alongside middle leaders, supporting and empowering school leaders to excel in their roles and foster thriving school communities. The EO School Leadership Development works across all school contexts in the Maitland-Newcastle Diocese, collaborating with leaders to enhance their professional growth and the effectiveness of their teams.
The services offered by the Education Officer: School Leadership Development include, but are not limited to:
- Systemic Professional Development: Delivering tailored workshops and training sessions aligned with diocesan goals to inspire and equip leaders with contemporary leadership practices.
- In-School Professional Development: Partnering with schools to design and facilitate bespoke professional learning programs that address unique challenges and build leadership capacity.
- 1:1 Leadership Coaching: Providing personalised coaching to middle leaders and aspiring principals, focusing on professional goal setting, reflective practice, and leadership growth.
- Processes Support: Assisting school leaders in implementing key processes, including Professional Practice and Development (PP&D), Performance Improvement, and Succession Planning, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with school priorities, and cultivating the growth of high-achieving, collaborative teams.
- Team Development: Supporting leaders in building cohesive, high-performing teams through strategic planning, team collaboration, and shared leadership practices.
