This week’s NSW Polding Swimming Championships highlighted the incredible talent of our swimmers, who delivered standout performances at the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre.
With a team of over 70 competitors, our swimmers proudly represented their school and Diocese delivering outstanding performances and achieving numerous personal bests.
An outstanding 22 swimmers have qualified to compete at the NSWPSSA event next week. Among them, several standout athletes secured spots in four or more events, including:
- Isabel Smith – St James’ Primary School, Kotara South
- Grace Skehan – St Mary’s Primary School, Warners Bay
- Billie Eder – St Joseph’s Primary School, Charlestown
- Jonathon Compton – St Aloysius Primary School, Chisholm
- Sienna Compton – St Aloysius Primary School, Chisholm
A standout moment of the event was the junior girls’ 200 Individual Medley, where our swimmers delivered a clean sweep of the podium, securing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
The day ended on a high with Chisholm claiming gold in the senior girls’ relay, silver in the junior boys’ relay, and Branxton rounding out the podium with bronze in the junior girls’ relay.
