Cricket season is officially underway! As the season kicks off, we’re exited to see the talent, competition and camaraderie across the diocese.
Primary cricket news
On Wednesday, 20th November, we held the Diocesan cricket trials for primary students. It was an exciting day filled with wonderful skill and talented players who showcased their abilities.
Congratulations to the following players who were successful in making the Maitland/Newcastle Diocesan team, which will represent us at the Polding trials later this term in Lismore: Cooper Curtis, Max Drabble, Owen Keegan, Samuel Lewis, Max McCullum, Hamish Mitchell, Thomas Porter, Eve MacCallum, Amandi De Silvi, Adelaide Fitzgerald, Harriet Morton and Stella Porter.
We wish these players all the best as they prepare for the next round of trials. Well done to everyone who participated!
