St Columban’s Primary School, Mayfield has, for over one hundred years, represented a snapshot of the wider community. Students are nurtured to become active, accepting and culturally aware future citizens.

St Columban’s students draw from the areas of Mayfield, Mayfield West, Tighes Hill, Warabrook and Carrington. The unique school community boasts the highest multicultural population of any primary school in the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle with many families from Asia, the Pacific Islands and Africa, as well as Indigenous Australians, forming a school community that is culturally aware and accepting of others.
