St Peter’s aims to ensure the transition into Kindergarten is a smooth and positive experience for all students, with each new Kinder enrolment assigned a Year 6 buddy on orientation day to help them feel comfortable and adjust to the next phase of school life. The buddy support system also enables Year 6 students to demonstrate their leadership skills, strengthen their confidence and provide a friendly face for new students in the playground.
St Peter's has a proud history of involvement in the local community including participation in sporting and cultural events, attendance at community commemorative services and fundraising activities for worthy causes. St Peter’s offers an Out of Hours school care program, serviced by Stockton School Kids Fun Club. The program runs from 7.00am each morning and from 3.00pm to 6.00pm each afternoon and Vacation Care is also available during all school holidays.
Students of St Peter’s Primary School, Stockton have the option to continue their Catholic education by attending San Clemente High School, Mayfield or Catherine McAuley Catholic College, Medowie depending on their place of residence.
